The space

ATTENTION: For same-day bookings, arrivals can only take place from 6:00 PM.
The apartment is located in the 7th district of Lyon, near the Jean Macé neighborhood, which is lively with its bars, restaurants, the Comoedia cinema, its market, Parc Blandan, ideal for walks or sports, Mama Shelter, and the University Lumière Lyon 2 - Berges du Rhône Campus.

The apartment is on the first floor of a Corbusier-inspired building, listed as a 20th-century heritage site.
It’s a former artist’s studio, very bright due to its period skylight that stretches across the entire apartment façade on the balcony side.

It is equipped with the following:

A small balcony with a table, chairs, and an armchair
A bright living area with a sofa, coffee table, TV
Attention: Please do not use the air conditioning in winter (3 heaters available)
The temperature is controlled, it must not exceed 21 degrees. In case of non-compliance there will be an additional blow

A fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, large refrigerator, stovetop, extractor hood, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, oven, dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils
A high table with chairs
A mezzanine bedroom area with a double bed (140*190cm), bedside tables and lamps, storage wardrobes, a clothes rack, a desk, and a large mirror
ATTENTION: The mezzanine is equipped with a non-blackout curtain.
There is a locked door in the mezzanine area that cannot be accessed.

The neighborhood

The Saint Louis neighborhood offers everything you need within a 50-100m radius.
Super U, bakeries, wine shops, butcher shops, tobacco bars, pharmacies, florists, and a post office. There are also many restaurants, cafes, bars, and tea salons.

You can also enjoy two markets:

Place Saint Louis (100 meters away) on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (from 6:00 AM to 12:30/1:30 PM)
Place Jean Jaurès (450 meters away) on Wednesdays and Saturdays (same hours).

For great spots, the Victoria Hall offers cocktails and fine dishes in an elegant setting. This former private mansion still retains its former grandeur.

Parc Blandan: The green lung of the area
Sports enthusiasts will find the Parc Blandan ideal, with the Rhône banks on one side and the park itself on the other. Located at the northern tip of the neighborhood, at the crossroads of the 3rd, 7th, and 8th districts, Parc Blandan was inaugurated in 2014 and spans 17 hectares. It was developed on the site of a 19th-century military fort called La Motte, which still stands and is open for visits.

A true alternative to Parc de la Tête d’Or, Parc Blandan is a large playground for children and adults, perfect for walking, resting, and sports. Numerous sports fields are available for football, badminton, volleyball, and basketball. Skateboarders, scooter riders, roller skaters, and BMX enthusiasts will also find designated areas. It’s a vibrant place where all ages come together in green surroundings, right in the heart of Lyon.
