The space

The duplex consists of:

A lovely living area with a lounge, sofa, and TV.
A fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator/freezer, a stove with oven and induction cooktop, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, along with dishware and kitchen utensils. A dining table with two chairs.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe for storage.
A bathroom with a shower, sink, and storage unit, towel dryer, and toilet.
Vacuum cleaner, mop, and a few cleaning products.

LINEN AND BASIC PRODUCTS
You will find linen and basic products in the apartment upon your arrival.

Regarding the linen:

The bed will be made up according to the number of people indicated in the reservation.
1 bath towel per person and per stay (if you need more, please bring your own).
1 kitchen towel, 1 bath mat for the bathroom.
Regarding the basic products:

3 rolls of toilet paper.
1 shower gel.
1 dishwashing liquid & 1 sponge.
Coffee capsules & tea bags provided for your arrival.
A few cleaning products.
IMPORTANT: No oil, salt, pepper, or paper towels. No laundry detergent.

The neighborhood

Located in the heart of the city with typical Lyonnais buildings, the large Place des Jacobins, the famous Place Bellecour, and especially my favorite summer spot, the Quais de Saône, which are lovely when it’s warm at the end of the day, with views of the Medieval district of Old Lyon and the Fourvière Basilica.

Great bakeries/desserts:

Le Pain des Jacobins, delicious and just next door.
Boulangerie du Palais, known for its praline desserts.
Pralus: the famous praline brioche, highly recommended!
Some typical restaurants and bars:

La Brasserie Georges: a true institution!! Known for its sauerkraut and craft beers.
Le Café du Rhône: bar and traditional local cuisine, the place is classified.
La Madone: bar and appetizer platters, a nice terrace, great products, and DJs performing regularly.
Abel: To taste the famous Lyonnaise Quenelle, I recommend making a reservation.
L'Ourson qui boit: Very good restaurant (also to be reserved).
Les Muses de l'Opéra: For a drink at the top of the Opera with a magnificent view of Lyon.
La Cuisine: Traditional cuisine and bar.
La Cave des Voyageurs (Old Lyon district): Wine tasting, small producers, excellent appetizer platters.
The Peniches along the Rhône quays with terraces to have a drink.
More exotic options:

Café Lisboa: Portuguese tapas.
La Rivière Kwai: Thai.
For going out:

PART-DIEU STATION / APARTMENT:
To get to the apartment from Part-Dieu station, take bus C13 direction Hôtel de Ville at the Part-Dieu stop and get off at Hôtel de Ville. The apartment is a 5-minute walk away.

ST EXUPERY AIRPORT / APARTMENT:
To get to the apartment from St Exupéry airport, take the Rhône Xpress direction Part-Dieu station and get off at Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie. Then take metro line A direction Perrache and get off at Hôtel de Ville. The apartment is a 5-minute walk away.

Please note that we do our best to ensure the safety of our guests by following the Airbnb cleaning protocol, sanitizing frequently touched surfaces (light switches, door handles, furniture handles, remote controls, etc.) before your arrival.

Only one set of keys is provided to guests for their stay, and it is not possible to get additional sets.
