The neighborhood
Located in the city center with its typical Lyonnais buildings, just a few minutes from Place Bellecour, Place Carnot, and especially the Saône riverbanks, which are very pleasant in the evening during summer with views of Old Lyon and the Fourvière Basilica.
The neighborhood is lively, with bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and grocery stores all within walking distance.
From the apartment, you can easily reach Rue Victor Hugo, one of Lyon’s main shopping streets, ideal for shopping, dining, or enjoying a drink.
By crossing the Saône, you will quickly reach Old Lyon, famous for its cobblestone streets, traditional bouchons, and traboules. You can also visit the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, located on the hill, offering breathtaking views over Lyon.
Getting around
Very well connected by bus, metro, tramway, and Perrache train station just a few minutes away.
PERRACHE TRAIN STATION / APARTMENT
From Perrache station, take metro line A towards Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie and get off at Ampère–Victor Hugo. The apartment is then just a few minutes’ walk away (about 5 minutes).
ST EXUPÉRY AIRPORT / APARTMENT
From the airport, take the Rhône Express towards Lyon Part-Dieu and get off at Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie.
Then take metro line A towards Perrache and get off at Ampère–Victor Hugo. The apartment is a few minutes’ walk away (about 45 minutes).
